Title: Semi Retired Miggy.......
Post by: Nemesis on 01 March 2009, 16:53:55
Hi all, I've gone and done a rash thing.... I bought myself a 3 year old Signum..... go on laugh..... BUT it's only done 20k from new ( I know the previous owner ) and it's spotless..... 3.2 V6 Elite, leather, cruise, satnav..... the works! All for 3 grand! So that leads me on to say that the Old beastie is to be semi retired! Thanks to all on here for the help you've given me in keeping the contents of my wallet out of the hands of the stealers!

Cheers all

A mate of mine thats had it from nearly new and then got a company motor, he's skint cos of a divorce and offered it me for what the stealers said they would give him for it (they bleated about it being a 3.2 petrol and all that.... ) it does more to the gallon than the miggy did and it's quick too!

Hey Count, I'm not going to leave the forum...... like I said I've only semi retired the Miggy, it's still the best tow car I've ever played with.... I just need to input some tlc with a few mechanical issues then i'm gonna keep it till it erodes away!

I have a Signum diesel 1.9 as well 2007 which I bought for Mrs. You have got a great deal for £3k. The Vectra C forum is pretty good for Signum advice.

Omega is still the preferred drive for me.

On sky news today,Mike Rutherford (motoring journalist) said that if you find the right dealer, you can get up to 40% discount on new Vauxhalls :o
this must greatly affect the price of used cars, but if you can afford it get down your local stealer and watch them cry as you haggle every last penny of their profit away. :)

I'm not going to do too much with the signum as it suites the roads where I'm working at the mo.... but I still reckon the Miggy is much nicer on the motorway....... however the Miggy does need some TLC, New Cam Covers to sort out the oil leak, a cambelt service, rear suspension bushes and the diff seal needs sorting....... other than that it's as good as new lol......
