Title: Pr*ck in a porsche yesterday
Post by: Del Boy on 08 March 2009, 10:23:48
Me and my son took the Mig out yesterday for a run, anyway was in lane 3 overtaking I wasn't exactly hanging around, anyway this Porsche Carrera 4 easily doing over 100 came straight up behind me flashing his lights etc so anyway pulled back into middle when I could, then what does he do pulls straight in front of me and slows right up  :o So I began to express my feelings along with my son (gets worse road rage than me) so anyway I overtake him then he does it again after about 2 mins he puts his foot down obviously his car sounds beautiful and he was giving some as well so my son said keep up with him anyway (honestly too) I did for a while until he pulled off the motorway I was so proud of my Mig cos he looked like a pr*ck that he couldn't get away, I mean that car could easily get away from my car any day he clearly couldn't drive  ;D But I mean what was the point in all that what a d*ck I bet he gets a new car now  ;)

It's more a case of 'balls' than the car you drive. My astra will only do 110 flat out, but people in much more powerful cars start to bottle it well before then.

Two things here is LSG
1.  if you had been me he would have to do very much more than "doing over 100mph" to catch me when I'm not hanging around! :D :D ;)

2. secondly if you will drive a white, ex-plod, MV6 with still two aerials on the roof, you will get other motorist maybe thinking you could be the real police and so slow right up! :D :D :D ;)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

More lick prick in a Jaguar. I had a new Jag come passed me in the fast lane of the A38 yesterday & cut right across infront of me & go up the slip road, he cut it so short he had to drive over the cross hatchings, i knew what he was going to do before he got to me, because he had on his nearside indicator on his aproach. He then took the nearside lane & had to brake very heavily. He gained about 20 seconds & my admiration. NOT

Try towing a caravan! I've had that happen to me a few times! >:(

To my amusement, when being cut up before, 9 times out of 10, a few miles along the road you find yourself behind the same car --- they don't usually get where they are going any faster --- just get to the next hold up a few seconds earlier!!!!

Before now I have been cut up on the motorway only to find the same car on the hard shoulder further on, enveloped in steam ---- that IS satisfying !

Years ago, my Dad had similar Porsche driver race up behind him on a dual carrageway flashing his lights to get him to move over. My Dad stayed where he was for a while, then just before the speed trap - that he knew was there - moved over to let the Porsche passed.
As my Dad drove passed, Porsche driver was being 'edumacated' my the Boyz in Blue.  ::) ::) :y

I have a little trick that i pull on anyone speeding at night or who wont move out of the way or is in an outside lane when inner lanes are clear..........it MUST be dark for this to work though AND IT DOES WORK...>EVERY TIME !!

Simply approach them from behind at high speed and flash your headlights ON>>>OFF>>>ON>>>OFF>>>ON>>>OFF>>>ON>>>OFF at precise regular intervals as a police car would and honest to sweet God people move out the way......its brilliant......

Did it in my old 51 plate Mondeo V6 against a Megane couoe full of boy racers doing 90 and swerving from lane to lane on the M1......should have seen their faces when I blasted past them.......

Also did it on a vectra estate along the A50 from Stoke....he was doing well over 80mph and as i flashed him i could see immediately his partner in the front passenger seat starting to shout and gesticulate at him that he was going too fast.........

Important thing is that they CANT see your car, and that the headlight flashing is done at the correct rate.........

It hasnt failed to clear the lane in front of me yet........!!!

The days are gone, unfortunately, when just driving an omega and wearing a hi-viz jacket used to make everyone start travelling at exactly 70mph. :(

I remember couple of years ago was wearing a white shirt after work and everything a merc sprinter van was bombing along and neither had their seatbelts on I remember the passenger seeing me, the van dipping real low cos driver was braking and the passenger frantically trying to get his seatbelt on I couldn't help but laugh. ;D
