Title: some people need to learn volume control

Why is it some people have to shout down the phone? Guy halfway down the train carriage had a hour long conversation with his wife on the way back today,  another person opposite me, had a conversation on the phone, i could not hear a word of it.

They do realize microphones these days pick up the slightest of noise, and don't need an Army Drill Sargent approach.

Luckily i had my Bose headphones with me  :D

you should have walked past and coughed really loud  >:( annoys the life out of me !! how rude  :D

Exactly another reason I couldn't tolerate an hour on the Chiltern Slug twice a day.

I do recall, 2 or 3yrs ago, getting somewhat stressed with some anal lowlife on train to St Albans insisting on playing his music on his phone's speaker.  Not my finest hour, but said phone confiscated for the journey, and knuckles bruised  :-[
