Very nice... it's a pity it's only a 2.5 though, cos in addition to the missing 40 BHP you don't get leather :(

If it were a 3.0 that would have been damn near perfect!

If I was in the market i'd have that! Superb example... and for me the 2.5 is perfect.  ;)

I find cloth just as comfy as leather, dad has it in his... and tbh no real differnce to me really. In fact i prefer cloth in the summer, cause you burn your legs & arse when in shorts  ::)

Nothing wrong with cloth, and maual is certainly the gearbox of choice for proper drivers! ;)

A manual 2.5 facelift elite is unusual, but not unheard of.

Now go find a 3.0 maual facelift elite!  :)

Point here - that i obviously didnt make well enough - was that cloth and manual in an elite...unusual. That sort of spec often starts to point towards ex plod cars..though obviously this isnt.

I too have cloth in the mv6 and would love manual so the point wasnt meant as "yuk cloth and manual"  :y

Cloth was standard on the 2.5 elite. Leather was an optional extra.

Markie, don't worry, we know what you meant. ;)

To be honest I like cloth too, my MV6 has it whereas my BMW is leather and I really don't see the advantage in leather as far as functionality goes. It's probably actually worse due to it being roasting in summer and freezing in winter! But in terms of looks, there's no doubt leather looks much better, makes the interior seem much more upmarket - which also helps resale value.
