ive been asked to change an engine on a citroen saxo from a 1400 to a 1600. have any one done a change like this or have any info on it ;  is it a straight swop or do electrics need changing  :-/

why go from a 1.4 to a 1.6
why not go the whole log and stick a 2litre red top engine in
if you are going from a 1.4 to a 1.6 wireing is very similar just need t change ecu and be an idea to up grade brakes

its ok having extra power but no good if the brakes aint up to the job

thanks nick if it was my car id put a big lump in it ? but its a girl whose driving it ;; and she just knocked the near side wing and bumper on a lamp post / and thats with a knackerd 1400 engine god i dont think she will last long with a 2ltr  :D
