... and PASSED :) :D
This time i used a Yamaha MT-03 660cc instead of the Kawasaki ER5, i much prefer the Yamaha, it looks like this:
660cc single, but the torque it pumps out is huge for a bike that size, any gear, any revs, it just pulls and pulls and pulls, never rev it about 6k, its actually faster short-shifting. Flat out its not much good as it tops out at 100, but i gets there so fast, and its balance is much better than the ER's i was really getting into the leaning around corners.
Was also leaving everything for dust at the lights, not something i am used to in a 2.2 ::) ;D
Right time to get on biketrader and find me some wheels....

Brilliant,well done Tunnie,you must be grinning like a cheshire cat. :y 8-)............wanna buy a cbr600? ::) ;D
-
Well done Tunnie!! :y :y :y
-
Yeah very well done.
You might want too look at something like a XT600 or similar.....ive had a couple of 600cc singles (XT600E and DR650).
Very easy too ride and huge grunt....not great top end but then do you really want too be doing 100mph plus.... :o

I passed my bike test on a Suzuki bloop,well B120 actually. :-* :-*
I 'am surprised that you can take your test on a 660cc machine.I was only allowed to ride up to 125cc on "L" plates. :-* :-* :-*
-
Well done Mark - and yes - whatever you get, get something non sporty.
That single looks fun.
Look at the mid size twins and see what there is

Well done Tunnie :y Now you can have some fun ;)

It works a bit different now, i took a CBT which limits me to 125cc and its valid for 2 years.
Because i am 24 and over the 21 limit, i have to take the test on a bike over 500cc to get the direct access (so i can ride any bike)
I really do like that Yamaha MT, its not silly fast, its fun easy ride and pulls like a train, great around town and on the twisty lanes!

Too expensive for now. Get yourself an easy to maintain cheapo bike this year, look at changing when you outgrow it in a year or 2 :)
Well done on passing at last :y

At last!

Well done Tunnie.
I hate to agree with Albs here ;D but the CBR 600 are a good alround bike :y

600cc sportsbike, probably 0-60 sub 5s (if you can keep the front down), and will pull to about 155ish...

Sorry, I meant keeping it down enough so the 3st tunnie isn't laying on his back on the A43 with the bike disappearing into the distance
