Well i thought id share my afternoon with you all
I started out with a nice sunny day working out my set list for a new gig i start in Edinburgh on Saturday and was enjoying some tunes and relaxing
At 3pm my son came home from school
the guy along the road was having a clear out and gave my lad a golf club to play with and i walked over to thank him for being so kind and just at that point my lad swung the golf club over his head and hit me square on the forehead and knocked my on my arse
So while im regaining my composure and getting back on my feet i noticed my wee girl wasnt anywhere to be seen so i had a quick look to see where she was ...no sign of her
I shouted all over the place checked in her room etc no Kirstin
so i jumped in the car and with half the street out looking for her set off to find her.
After about half an hour i got a phone call to tell me they had found her curled up in a ball in the corner of her room sleeping
i was so relieved to hear she was ok but at the same time i could have cried.
so i am sitting here now with a big lump on my head feeling dizzy as hell eyes out of focus and a headache but safe in the knowlage that everyone in the family is ok..
all round shit day i think im going to go to bed and watch sky for the rest of the day so that nothing else happens

sorry to here about the golf club accident
and glad the little one is ok and safe and sound

That was all bad, with a good ending though; apart from the thump on your head! ::) ::) ::)
I would strongly recommend please you get yourself fully checked over by a doctor, like now! It has been in the news how a apparently simple head bump can have fatal consequences!!:o :o You are already suffering the affects of the thump, so don.t delay! ;)

I agree with Lizzie -- you know she makes sense !!!! Sounds like it was hell of a crack ! Get it checked out pronto -- better safe than sorry
