Title: Mazda 3
Post by: Andy B on 22 March 2009, 17:19:57
My Dad has borrowed my brother's Mazda 3. The combined flip key/fob has 3 buttons LOCK UNLOCK and errrr anyone? What ever it is, it has a live through it, suggesting it's turning something off. I thought perhaps interior sonics ... but can't see any  :-/

My sister has one and I just looked in the hand book and that is exactly what it's for. I went and had a look in her car and I can't see them either :-/

Microwave possibly?

Andy my other half has a mazda 3.

The button is for turning off interior sensors.

Press lock button once (indicators flash) then press third button (indicators flash again to show sensors turned off).

Thanks for that Scottie. We were just currious, it wasn't affecting anything, but now we know!  ;) We discovered the leccy windows will close on the fob, like an Omega's.  :y
My Dad's still trying to get used to the third pedal, he's not had one for 20 years or so!

Tell him to be careful because they open on the fob too. Press and hold unlock and all the windows go down. I found out by accident when the keys were in my pocket. Came back to the car and all windows were down!!! :y
