Title: spoof ebay message
Post by: unlucky alf on 23 March 2009, 11:31:48
ive just received a spoof ebay email which informs me that id won a fridge freezer, as i knew nothing about it i went to the item number too see what it was all about, luckily the seller had a phone number so i called them & they tell me they have had 100`s of calls about this worldwide, ive checked my paypal account & all is well there, so my advice to anybody who gets this email DO NOT click any of the links on it as obviously they are after your info, ive now forwarded it to,,,spoof@ebay.co.uk -  just got the reply from ebay & sure enough its a dodgy one so you have been warned >:(
