It could have been stationary at the time, either that or the airbags didn't think it would go out on that day, bad hair day maybe  ;D ;D

..........It's the sort of vehicle that I'd like to find for a V8 engine project.
Engine out, engine in, rebuild and up spec-it a bit.

Trouble is I haven't the time or the money :'(

Still it's a euro lottery tonight  ;)

Scrap it.

That needs

Bonnet
Slam panel (welded)
Grill
Head lights
Bumper
Bumper Iron

and probably a vic!

That's got less damage than my last one and they wrote mine off because the repair costs exceeded £5K.

Lot of parts involved with frontal impacts.

Reading the blurb with it, it contradicts itself, on one hand it says for sale as a whole car. And in another line it says engine for sale with gearbox.

Confused.

"Engine is in good conditon, and is availiable for purchase along with gearbox"

"NO MOT or TAX - Vehicle is to be sold complete for spares or repair - should you require other parts please get in touch and we'll see what we can do."

Hence probably, what it says and what the relaity is may well be two different things as it is ebay!  :y

I aske the seller a question on ebay, and he has confirmed the auction is for the whole car. But if he receives no bid he will break it for parts.

Indeed as I once found out after just a low speed shunt in a 3.0 Elite; £1800 worth with labour!!

That 1999 GLS is just not economically worth repairing, and is suitable only for breaking for parts! ::) ::) ::)
