The bobbles on the pegs look to round Tunnie, you need to find a nice roundabout ;)

Its a big thumper of a single, but at 60mph its surprisingly smooth.

My commute is too far to bike, its just a weekend toy for now  :)

Glad you've gone for a proper sit up bike. Never been into the sportbike scene, tried an R6, 750 Gixer & 900 Blade, fast as break yes but uncomfy to ride & riding with your arse in the air is gay!

I know what you mean :y

Saying that, my ZX10 is pretty lean forward - first couple of decent rides made my wrists ache a bit.

Tunnies bike did seem really nice and comfy on the few yards I rode it, but a bit too small for a fat bastard like me - I had to lift and flop my gut onto the tank ;D

sports bikes are very uncomfortable to ride slow, once you start to go fast  the wind blast takes the weight off the wrists and they are reasonably comfortable.

My (old) ZX10 is classed a sports tourer, so not quite the out and out sports bike that you get now. Pretty comfy on a run, I don't suffer from wristache anymore with it, though it is a bit cumbersome in slow traffic.

Once you get the bum broken in & used to riding distances I'm sure you will be travelling to work on it  piece o' piss in traffic hold ups & fun too plus not forgetting the costs!! especially when it warms up abit  :y :y

Saying that, it showed Tunnie's bike a clean set of heels, despite an awful misfire on the first overtake ;D

Actually, thanks for making go out for a ride Tunnie, by the end, my bike was purring much better - it really needed a run :y

No problem  :y

Weather permitting, we could pop over to Bicester tomorrow.

The Yam actually is most at home in town, its very easy to ride through the villages.

That was the longest ride i have been on yet! Was good for me to, was much smoother with everything by then end of it  :y

On the A46 Cheltenham to Winchcombe road (I have taken that route with most bikes) I filed the centre stand down on my GS250T, there is a nice fast left hander coming down Cleeve Hill, which I took at 80, the centre stand was a lot thinner after a while.

Highest speed I even acheived on that hill was going up the Cheltenham side on the 600.

Even though it had unreliable electrics I do miss it.

Tunnie, do you have a gps-ready mobile or pda??  If you do, have a play with http://www.gpsed.com

I might have some fun with it to be honest, had a few goes with it, and recorded a ride out I did today aswell, pretty good considering its free!

http://gpsed.com/track/330228350162367336

Might be a good way for tracking your little adventures, as you can also tag your pictures to it from the likes of flickr!
