It's seems to be a compulsion for some people. As I've said before, if I dont recognise the sender, in the bin. If I make a mistake, and bin a genuine message, tough.

The latest warning lavasoft are going on about is the Waledec Botnet?

How the Attacks Work...
The Waledac botnet runs "campaigns" soliciting people with phony themed emails and greeting cards. When users click through to receive their messages, malicious software silently and automatically downloads to their PC. The malicious software can do a number of things, from stealing credit cards and passwords to turning PCs into launch pads, attacking others.

Even if you reconise the sender, you still wouldn't click on a link, would you...
