Yup, all under my desk at work. If I have room, I'll bring to York, save on postage. I'll bring a few, chances are they should be enough workers in there...

my old desktop - 3g P4 with 2g of ddr and a 320G sata disk had an appointment with Clarence Clubhammer over the weekend, seeing as the wheelie bin had a little space left in it ;D
Shame I split the wheelie bin with it :-[

:'( That spec is better than my pc at home! :'( Feel free to donate any other bits to the 'human' dustbin here in York! ;D

I normally donate to friends and family, but nobody wants P4s now. Not even charity shops or schools.... ....hence the council have them...

nothing wrong with p4's

No, not really, just a bit slow. Power usage is a big issue as well with them.
Got a P4 2Ghz lappy here with 768Mb RAM and a pathetic 20G HDD going begging, though a mate has first refusal - thats only coz he mentioned his old lappy was tired over the weekend, else the dustman would have had that in this mornings collection as well....

if you come across and 1gig ddr1 ram stics can you bring them to the york meet
we will be coming now we got our money sorted :y

never, ever, ever, ever, EVER buy memory from the egay. It most likely has been handled by retards who don't know how to handle it, and will be fooked.

there you go point proven

ddr is a bugger was some of the timing specs aren't as well defined as they should be, resulting it memory meeting the required spec, but being incompatible.
Crucial every time for me :y

If vacuum sealed, its usually brand new, and unfettled by retards hands, so you should be OK with that. Trouble is, new stuff on the Gay is no cheaper than elsewhere - many traders on the Gay rely on the laziness of people to always buy from there without checking prices...

ddr is dear as
a) computer stuff sourced in $
b) low volume, so higher margin needed.
