Title: She scrubbed up nice !
Post by: djm1964 on 05 April 2009, 19:40:45
Just finished washing the Mig , been polishing a panel a day over and over for about 2 months now , as I never seem to get time to do the whole car ! Kids , who'd have em  ;D. Will try and get some pics on tommorrow , I know she has a few rusty " blobs" on the rear doors , hence the re-spray thread the other week , but inside she is lovely, best car I have ever owned , BUT not the most expensive I have ever bought , so true what is said time and again on here , you do get a lot of car for your money  ;)

Take care

Dave

Looking forward to seeing them pics. A panel at a time, i bet she looks  8-) 8-) Wish i could just do a panel at a time, i tend to get carried away. Like i've just come in from being on the go since 07.00  :o :o

Happy polishing. When you're done don't forget the shuts. All that's left then is dress the blacks & tyres & do the glass in & out.
Do'nt forget the wheel clean if you've got alloys!!! :y

Hi CD Pete , I just wish I had the time ! Amigo , I was forced to do the glass as after last weeks football run ( for my son ) I had a large amount of hand marks and smiley faces on the rear windows , ( internal ) funny how none of the kids knew anything about them  ;D , as for the alloys , I have done the best I could with them , they are not in any way pristine as they need a refurb , but as I said overall she don't look bad for her age , sorry I went of on a tangent then thinking of the wife  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Take care

Dave

No problem Dave, mine was below average on the bodywork (dull paint)when i brought as it was owned by an old boy, it is how it is today through my own doing like yours and that gives you great satifaction on its own. :y
