Just got back from the test after hearing that my handbrake needs adjusting, my emissions are for times the limit and one of my rear shocks is leaking. :'( :'(
Mind, only the handbrake worries me as I'll just clean up the shock before heading over next time and I think some stupidity on my part was responsible for the emissions.

Well -- hopefully the retest should see it OK then :y

Sorry to hear that! :'(
If you don't know already the following is an excellent guide by Mark to adjust the parking brake:

Unlucky, least they shouldnt be too hard to fix.
Thing with the handbrakes is to use em, and drive with on for a bit now and again, keep em biting.

good luck mate & go easy pulling the disc off as you dont want to rip the retention pins out of the back plate :y

Right I've got the drivers side disc off (yes I am that quick :D :D )
It came off very easy so I assume that there's a bit of play between the shoes and disc, So could I adjust it here?
Now, when I pull the brake only one shoe moves but I only removed and cleaned the acuator about two weeks ago :-?

Yes :y :y
The tester said that the passenger side was fine and there was an imbalance of 75%.

In which case you probably have to remvoe the lower pivot and take it apart, clean well an re-grease on assembly
