Post by: stuart30 on 11 April 2009, 20:30:59
First off is it possible too use someone elses trade club card or is it strictly just the named person.

Secondly anyone know the price of anti freeze (doing a full coolant change) and oil and screw on oil filter and Pollen filter.

Its for my elite "97.

just bought 5ltrs coolant today - i'm sure it was 10.20+vat with abs card. it showed up a little cheaper on the trade club website but only by a few pennies

I would recoomend you get a card from autobahnstormers - it will pay for itself in no time

My card has no owners name on it. I can't see any problem. ::)

May be worth noting you must buy the correct antifreeze/coolant additive and if you are buying neat antifreeze use the correct ratio mix, it's important !

Well was after doing coolant change...oil/filter change and possibly pollen filter (seeing there isnt one).

So guessing that should if combined work out fair bit cheaper than retail...? :-/

Dave yeah aware of the 50/50 on coolant....but thanks for saying  :y

Can't say what the situation is in your neck of the woods -- but I have used a friend's card locally and they never looked twice!  Might be different if you were using a credit / debit card to pay as they might notice names don't match.  I paid cash and gave them the name on the card for the invoice!
