Also, there are ways around the simple tracking anyway (enough to make it a lot of effort for them), if it concerns you that much - but then trying to hide yourself often draws attention

Who though - but the point is the government wants to track us then moans like hell when stories like this break out.
1 piece of sh1t is now unemployed, a few embarrased and a female MP is getting ready to sue over the contents and sexual inuendos in it. (Contents have been closed down on but would be something like affairs or similar)

Yep, GCHQ!
They and other agencies, in the USA in particular, monitor billions of phone calls, e-mail and internet activity. Communications are 'sifted' and certain key words trip the systems recognition capabilities to raise to operators potential threats to state security for agency investigation. ;)
