Heat water and eggs together, once water boiling allow 3 minutes for runny egg;  4 minutes for solid egg;  5 minutes for hard boiled.

Add salt for personal taste (I do not)

Placed on toast is my favourite serving method

 Simples! :D ;)

Fish is the other thing I can't stand, as it happens. ;)

Then again, I'd happily eat pancakes until I burst and they hardly have a low egg content. ::)

As regards boiling Lizzie summed that one up. But my fave is m'room omelette. Fry sliced mushies in a little oil with finely diced onion, luzz the whisked/seasoned eggs in over a low heat. When it's nearly cooked, (not burnt underneath but still snotty on top) grate cheese, sprinkle smoked paprika & finish the top under a medium grill.
Scrambled is much the same but melt butter not oil, low heat, add finely chopped spring onions, then eggs & keep stirring.  Lovely with hash browns.

 Happy cooking! :y :P :P
