Yeah mine have the flexi end as well, didnt notice that that those haven't.   Worth paying more for the flexi ends.

Bought mine couple of years back, paid 33% of full price, think it was around £27 ish from memory.

Good set, and pretty complete.

Million times better that the blue Clarke ones, and better value for money than the better Clarke ones.

My set ranges from 10 to 19 mm including 15 & 16 mm but doesn't include the 18mm size that I have in my Draper socket set,but whats the 18mm for anyway? I have never seen an 18 mm nut ever!  do they exist? :-?

yep, you'll need one to undo the pinch bolt on the bottome balljoint when you change your wishbones ;)

Oh yes, 18mm are common on modern cars...

Wonder why? who decided 17 was too small and 19 to big? I bet money changed hands between car and spanner makers!

Could say that for any size ;). Why not ban all even sizes etc ;)

if they are the same pieces that come in the 150 piece set then bravo, very good. in fact, the 150 piece set was down to 99 quid a little while ago, a really good buy, dont know if the offer is still on?

looking back i dont think they are ALL in the 150 piece socket set, but the smaller ones are. the "rapid action with no need to remove & re-position the spanner" is awesome (as anyone who has regularly dealt with cam cover gaskets and/or bast'd bolts will tell you!  ;D ).

Halfords ones every bit as good imho, having owned both sets.

I'm rapidly going off Clarke Pro tools, having recently split 2 sockets.  OK, MM replaced them without quibble (once I found the receipt no ;D) over the phone, but that didn't smooth the skinned knuckles  >:(

The Clarke ones don't make sense to me.  On the upside, they do come in a pretty box ;D

I've seen similar looking on boot fayres at Tatton etc but couldn't justify buying them as they're often imperial sizes  ;D  ;D

Yep, the clarke ones are far superior with a ratchetless setup on them.

Must be a typo as my set certainly has a 13mm

I'll check mine next time I see my mate (who I long term loaned them to), see what sizes it had.  I know it was missing some key sizes, can't remember which...
