After all the fun with the exhaust and springs, I put the car in for its MOT. Last year I got an advisory on the front bushes slightly worn, so was expecting it to fail on front wishbones. However it didn't it passed with advisories about the front pads which he couldn't see properly and the front tyres were worn on the inside, so I guess the tracking needs done. Interestingly enough, most of the local big test centres were all booked up, so I found one a bit out of the way. They charged £35. He was thorough, giving the front and rear suspension a good push with a crowbar, but I would prefer he find any fault and I fix it rather than me travelling down the road 9 months later and the front suspension collapses. :'(
However another Mig lives for another year :y :y :y
