well when i cleaned the breathers out on my miggy the other week i thought i had done really well ....i had with the car :y
i have been experiancing pain in my neck and down my left arm and headaches which get worse as the day goes on.
well today i had a physio appt at work after seeing the doc on monday. its not good news :(
looks like i have a swollen disc which is compressing the nurve in my neck causing the pain in my arm and shoulder. :o :o :o :o C2 or C3 i think she said.
I dont beleive i have done this much damage fixin my car and a simpleish job at that :-[ i hope it fixes it self soon!!

And there I was thinking you "fish-heads " were all roughie toughie types :)
(Take care and get well soon - rest is the best thing to allow the swelling to subside)

I hope it eases off soon Marie, neck pain can be a killer (not literally though), I've had many sleepless nights with neck pain, I found vodka helped ;D
-
Ouch! Take it easy. Marie. I'm sure you'll be back swapping gearboxes like the old times before you know it! ;)

For the un-enlightened ... a WAFU is ...
WAFU - Royal Navy MLA for Weapons And Fuel Users. These are the nice chaps that fix the odd Lynx/Merlin/Sea King from time to time. Mainly found lounging in the hangar sipping tea and swapping dits of the night out before. The term itself is an acronym of Wet And Flaming Useless. It applies to any member of the Fleet Air Arm.
"fish-heads" or "matelots" the lot of them.

Easier said than done just to take it easy and rest.
Busy lifestyles and kids relying on you, but you do have to take it easy and rest. if you need to do anything, try to pace yourself.
Rather than pain killers, try hot water bottle or better still get wheattie bag which you can heat in the microwave. They're great.
Be positive :y
