Title: Nice car ruined
Post by: Bumbazor on 23 April 2009, 08:32:21

This girl must be really upset and I have sympathy for her, but if I had spent time and money on something like that I would put it in a garage, and if I didn't have a garage I would build one.

I'd even prefer to put my car in a garage now but I don't have space for one at home.

the trouble is if they get caught they'll get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again. A mate of mine caught a kid ripping the wing mirror off his ladies car and chased after him and caught him, he kept hold of him and called the police  but because there were no witnesses the kid denied it and because he was 15 my mate got done for attacking a minor got a 2 year suspended sentence 200 hours community service and had to pay the little scrote £1500 compesation!!! Lesson learnt don't call the police and issue REAL JUSTICE.

We caught a bloke on cctv last week damaging somebodys car as he was being prosecuted by the owner on assault charge so he was trying to intimidate him in not going to court so the police told us and thanked us for the footage we recorded....

That is terrible and I really feel for that woman as I know how I'd be after such an awful event! >:( >:( >:( >:(

I just wonder why somebody would do it.  Yes, it could be just a mindless yobbo,  but how many go around with pots of paint?? That seems to make it a pre-meditated attack.

It could well be jealousy of some kind.  It is also possible that she has crossed another woman (over a man??) and this is that woman's revenge.  Women can be very spiteful and hold a grudge, especially if 'their' loved one has been 'snatched' by another woman, or just overwhelmed by her, and maybe her car!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

A woman scorned...........!!! :P :P :P :P

1.why dont have any cctv

2.My estimation is that most of the car paint can be recovered by some 2000 wet sanding (and a bit sacrificing from the depth of the laquer)..Hard work though :( ..

3.Glass parts is no problem anyway..

4.Only scratched  parts must be repainted..

5. if I was her, after sanding I would add extra layers of laquer for some future protection and similiar events..(as the surface will be ready after sanding)

at least they didnt use paint solver..

This is a great shame, all the work she's put in to be damaged like that.

She might be lucky, if she has put several layers of wax on the car, then the paint might not have got thro to the actual paintwork, so it might be basically OK.
