Title: my son is here

 :) :) :) :)my son Joshua was born at 22:46 weighing 7lb 11.5oz. :) :) :) :)
my daughter Bethany doesn't know yet as she is asleep at her grans
wife Donna had a tough time parting with him and ended up having emergency caesarian section, but is recovering sound.
hospital kicked me out and won't let me stop overnight with them so i'm now home celebrating all alone with whisky and dry ginger with loads of ice.
bad news is i don't think i'll make it now to the york meeting cos donna shouldn't really travel that far recovering from op :(

Congratulations to you and Donna and Bethany, hope that Donna has a speedy recovery, I know she will be very sore as I have had 2 emergency caesarians and another 3rd caesarian so i know all about how painfull she will be in so give her my best wishes  :y

they both home at teatime annd right now i've just finished a nightime feed. next one due at 315. guess i must get a couple of hours kip and do next one as wife needs the rest to recover. shes recovering well as wasn't expected to be released from hospital till friday afternoon.

The first night with my daughter saw me up in the middle of the night, feeding and the two of us kipping on the settee, me with my feet up and she on my tummy. I will always remember that precious moment, and at nearly nine she still likes to cuddle in as close, sideways now though :y :y :y

his second name Dean. by my daughters request. she shares middle name of my wife and thought josh should share my middle name but when she knew what my middle name was she said that it would be too cruel and to just use dean ;D ;D ;D

30mins early was wanting next feed and just settled him down. now time to wash my self where i was showered by a fountain whilst putting on clean nappy ::) this is first night of this and i don't remember feeling this tired nearly 7 years ago with my daughter beth. good news is he's good and easily settled. midwife see him and wife in morning and i hope she says to gor for 4hr intervals instead of 3.
its all so worth it when his eyes look at me :)
