What do we think of these please ? http://cgi.ebay.de/NEU-TUNING-EDELSTAHL-POLIERT-SCHUTZLEISTEN-OPEL-OMEGA-B_W0QQitemZ290309345605QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item290309345605&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1229%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
Do you think they would be ok or tacky. I do remember seeing them on some older mercs in the past and they seem to suit them ok.

not my scene...
-
nah it reminds me of too much of an xr3i and the only reason the xr3i had em was to hide the rust! although i think the XR3i/ RS Turbo ones looked a hell of alot much better as they werent tacky silver
would deffinatly not suit an omega or any car !!
-
If I was held an gunpoint and forced to have them it would have to be the black ones --- but out of choice ..... not for me
-
See plenty of 20 yr old Mercs and Nissans driving around with those obscenties on in Leicester......especially Belgrave Road
Not my cup of tea at all
:y
-
Tacky, but everyone to their own.
-
Certainly not for my miggy! ::) ::) ::)

It is funny you shoud say that Lizzie, as that is just the look I was going for. See I drive quite slowly, kinda cruising if you no what I mean.
Still everyone seems to be against so maybe not then.

the only use i see for em is to allow your rusty arches to pass an MOT which Ducktape will do for £4.99

I absolutely agree, it’s up to you.
So no, don’t fit them, buy them, or even think about them.

They will look really tacky and spoil the look of a great car. For the love of god don't do it!
-
not a lot of support for shiney stuff then ;D

Not for me either, had some on me jag, ... hated them, i dislike chrome on cars though, have tried many times to get rid of the chrome type stuff round windows on my cars, but never yet successfully >:(
But as said its upto you :y
-
Here you go.
My mates estate in Netherlands .He bought it with them fitted I asked him about the " suitability " of them on the car but he just laughed 'cause it's just a parts chaser and daily hack.
Thats a Diplomat A bye the way on the back now secreted in one of his two barns awaiting restoration.
Re the arch trims, I think you should tread warily ::)
