Title: The elusive cam follower....
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 06 May 2009, 23:16:52
For those who have followed the story so far you'll know what I mean.

Let's just say, it was on the 2-4-6 bank, on an exhaust valve. And I spent my day taking off the cambelt kit, cam covers, a camshaft - popping in a follower - and re-fitting it all  ;D ;D

Worth doing though - and as AndyB correctly says - won't make that mistake again!!  ;D

Aye - hands up - it was indeed my oversight  :-[

Easy to do though... I nearly missed all 8 when I rebuilt a 8 valve k series head once!

Very brave of you to confess on here though... Best start dodging the piss takes now! ::)

It's lucky you found the follower though James or else you'd have been pulling your hair out trying to find out why she was down on power :-?.

Good job well done though James :y
