Title: Creda Cooker - anyone got a service manual?
Post by: TheBoy on 21 May 2009, 20:08:01
Creda Solar Plus, think its model 48339

I've got a knacked grill element (I think), and I suspect a top oven element down as well.

Yup, but need service manuals to ascertain which parts I need, and also for instructions to dismantle!

As half the grill works, and the bottom oven still works, I did ask her what the problem was...

...she kindly got some frozen peas to help with the swelling ;D

Cheers.

Pretty certain I need something like:
http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/creda/48339/p/1092/720/0/421279/871745/high-speed-grill-element.html

https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/products/cookers-hobs/16839.htm

and loads of other similar around the £50 mark, but the Hotpoint part number varies  :-/

Or should it be something like:
http://www.spares2go.co.uk/browse-HOTPOINT-48339-ELEMENT_GRILL_HIGH_SPEED_CREDA-m134-p24331-s27606.htm

http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/creda/48339/p/1092/720/0/421279/487903/oven-grill-element.html

 :-/

Is the same element used to heat the top oven on these, as the top oven has been slow to preheat for a while?

Surely you don't need a grill until about November now anyway. Just fire up the barbie. :y
