Title: paint a panel services

Getting fedup now,so as i have a mate whos learning me bodywork,i am thinking about setting up a little unit painting body panels,bumpers mirriors,skirts,and even wheels,even thought about the name (paint a panel services).What does everyone reckon.Oh and b.t.w. all miggy customers would get a nice discount. :y

Think you have to have a proper booth by law,but not really bothered to begin with. ;)

my brother is a painter, both commericals and cars. from what i here him saying is ur paint scheme is very important. trying 2 get water-based matched is a nitemare. he still hasnt decided on his.

Not quite that expierienced yet bud,just coping with single panels for now.Maybe in the not to distant future though. :y

no its not too far from pinky & perky or myself. us staffs have to stick together you know.  :D

There is a company local to me that does the same sort of thing that you are thinking of doing.
I think he gets around the law as he is spraying stuff that he can do in the van, so it is an enclosed area  :y

Good luck to you if you run with it  :y One problem I can invisage though is if you paint metallics you will have problems matching up to adjacent panels if you spray the panel as a seperate job

Well you can never guarentee a perfect match anyway.
