Title: Breathers?

Now i have seen the posts about the breathers need cleaning out quite regular and Elite Pete did mention using Carb Cleaner, but which are these breathers?? :-?
Are they the four hoses that are pushed into the back of the black plastic that says Eco tec on it? or is the breather the actual black plastic that goes to the Bag Pipes or whatever you call them? ::)

Mr.Burger if you could put the pictures on again that would be a great help too.
