trust me you would never get away! That 3L diesel is something else, its cleaner and more economical than my 2.7 and 33% more powerful! :o

This is the late 1960s/early 1970s Jaguar Police cars I remember, apart from the ones in the late 1950s.
The met were using them in the early 1970s and near Wandsworth I once saw the incrediable sight of five of these Jaguars 'pounce' on this lone car and surround it!

Good to hear Gaffers :y - I rather fancy it myself (car)
Either way, the XF's parallel sequential turbocharging should provide all the necessary in-gear, as well as emergency, response.
I'm just thinking that the technology might be a tad on the sophisticated side for extended police work. :-/
