Cem, please whatever has caused this can surely be corrected.  Give us a PM if you like and discuss in private if you so wish! ;) ;)

PS I hope it has nothing to do with the BNP thread!! ::) ::)

I think its obvious cem is upset about something that has happened on here, if he wasnt he would have just deleted his membership and pm'd an admin.

Never like to see anyone leave though

That's what I was wondering Lizzie. I'm sure Cem posted on that thread but it's not there now. :-?
Possibly Cem found something in it upsetting and decided to delete his post.

Cem.....if you're reading this I hope you decide to stay as you've been a valuable contributor to this forum for a long time. :y

Funny you should say that Bob, because I was sure he had, but like you I have found no sign of him being on that thread now :o :o. Thought it was my imagination. ::) ::)

Like everyone says please stay. you have a lot of experience of all the problems that everyone has had. you have a lot of knowledge that you could pass on to old and new miggy drivers.  so please think about it. you would be greatly missed.

I've known Cem for quite a while. He is very sensitive and if something has happened to upset him, we would not necessarily know what it was. If he feels he has reason to leave, then let it be.

Stmo has a point, sometimes enquires into matters like this can have a negative effect on the individual concerned.

I would tend not to apply any pressure for cem to give his reasons.  I'm sure that he's monitoring the forum and will be well aware that we are upset at his departure.   I'm also sure that should he wish to reveal his reasons - he will :y

The lesson for all members is to 'engage brain before posting' in case remarks, regardless of whether meant in jest ,are misinterpretted particularly by those whose first language is not English

True, but we can't talk about cars all the time and this place does become a bit like the local (Nag's Head, anyone?), so emotive subjects will crop up from time to time.

Anyway, it wasn't as emotive a subject as the Great Hall Cupboard Project of 2007.  ;) ;D ;Dl

I'm not on my high horse Nick, but I learned from a very young age (in fact, it was a rule in the local boozer), that politics and religion are a no-no. They are both very close to people's heart, and invariably descend into insults.

Fine sentiments, Steve, and I generally endorse them. However, we moan about all sorts of things and, these days, that increasingly includes making comments about the way we are governed. From there, it's a short step to discussing ways of changing the ways we are governed and, from there, it's a short step to discussing how....and there you are embroiled in a political discussion. It's a sort of runaway intercourse... ;) ;D

he is under a bitof presure at the moment

i have spoken to him and i'm not saying what he has told me

he is going to have a break for a few days and then decide if he is going to come back or not

Well, he isnt an EX-MEMBER yet so we must presume he is still a member.

Anyway, like I mentioned before, worse things happen at sea and all that so it would be nice if he stays but if he decides its not for him anymore I am sure the forum will survive too.

Far more important things in life than this so moving on.........

Anytime you ask ..

I can recommend two places..

Depending on your preference..

Fethiye/Ölüdeniz.. Best nature and sea.. (Which I prefer every year)

Bodrum..Best discos..Nature is also ok but not like Fethiye.. And a bit more expensive..

 I'll post some details later..

The world has always been mad, it's just that we are spoon fed it every five minutes on the news now.
Dont watch the news or read the papers or surf the net and you'll be a very happy person...I promise.

I don't understand the whole "I want to leave so delete my membership".

Exercise that free will and click the red-ex in the corner, easy!

That said, sounds like it's a good thing you didn't go. You got the attention you wanted, anyway!  :D

It's hard to believe that, when you made a thread, waited for everyone to say "don't go", and then said "okay I'll stay".

I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, it's up to you what you do, I just dislike attention seeking of that sort, and it's hard for me to see it another way!

Please leave this subject alone, as Cem did have his reasons which we must all respect. ;) ;)

Sometimes, and it has happened to me, you just feel that your presence is no longer welcome due to some unfortunate remarks.  Then you have a rest from it, and the love of the Forum returns (usually!!) ;D ;D ;D ;)

Nice to see free speech is encouraged here. I'm sorry I'm not saying what people want me to say.

*drops it*

EDIT - that was at STMO, not you Lizzie!

r.e. language, I have huge respect for anyone not natively English speaking posting on an English message board, it's about the most awful language to learn, especially with things like txt spk  ;D

I'm just going on what I've read here. I do acknowledge your post count, and concede that I've perhaps been a bit too presumptious for a lowly newbie :).

I believe I get that accusatory tone from being an admin on a much different forum. Having dealt with similar requests that hold virtually no water, sometimes that part of my brain kicks in before I can help it.

My neck's wound back in now.

Also, I didn't realise the Omega reached Turkey :).

Yes..you can also say, "assume" makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

Or just me rather.

Anyway, JamesV6CDX, sounds like hayfever. Or manflu. Manflu will get you more sympathy points.
