Post by: RonaldMcBurger on 12 August 2006, 07:37:33
Is it just me that can get up on a Saturday morning then?

Today I are mainly be doing:

Both front wishbones
Both anti-roll bar drop links
Steering Idler
Exhaust centre joint, passenger side
Rear bumper change
Parking sensors
OSR door strip
NSR 1/4 panel strip
NSR reflector
Airbag light
Oil change

err..... that's it I think. Then after 9am I will find spomething else to do!!!!!!

Oh yes, Laidback coming over to do something this afternoon I think. I might even get a chance to tackle my shed/nightmare. I have so many bits for sale I can't even begin.

Self dimming rear view mirror now listing in For Sale section..... be quick......

Try not to do anything??? You know me mate.

Right. 9am and coffee break. Bumper changed - twice! Took old bumper with badly drilled parking sensor holes off the TD Estate, took the good(ish) bumper off the CDX Estate, put the good(ish) bumper onto the TD Estate and fitted a nice newish one on the CDX Estate ready to mark out and drill when I find my hole saw. Reflector changed, NSR 1/4 strip changed, OSR door strip removed, OSF wishbone and drop link removed.

slurp and back we go.......

Meanwhile I sit here... rapidly losing patience with the postal system...
No, the postie can't deliver it with the letters, it has to be delivered seperately by the parcel guy in the van!

When is he coming?

In the fullness of time....or words to that effect!  >:(

my head hurts......how can you get up at 7 and start all that work? im still trying to find wishbones that dont cost the earth, can find plenty on ebay but they all want £30 each to ship em making them come in at around €200 for both which is 20% of what the car cost, now my head really hurts [smiley=sad.gif]

Mark - no drop links again yesterday so can't hep there

Dave - Typical

Meanwhile, 11:15 and another cuppa. OSfF wishbone and drop link done and finished, NSF wishbone and stubborn drop link off. Next, drop link and wishbone on and then Steering idler, followed by exhaust joint and done for the day.

All done. Wishbones, drop links, exhaust joint, bumper, trims, steering Idler (thankd Mark) and it is driving much better now. No knocking noises!

Project nearly done. Very pleased so far.
