Title: Another funeral

Tomorrow's a sad day here - it's my mother's funeral, and I'd like to thank all of you for the kind messages of sympathy that you've posted to date.

As requested, my brother and I, along with my son and son-in-law, are the poll-bearers, on this, her last journey.
We can take great comfort however, from the fact that she'd had a good life, and died peacefully after a very long illness.

Zulu77's comforting words are particularly poignant - he rightly says that there can be no greater tribute shown than to bear her weight on the journey to her final resting place.
I'll not forget those moving words of his. Cheers mate!

Again, sincere thanks to you all for taking the time to support us at this difficult time.

as above, not a nice day for you, deepest sympathy and good wishes to you and your family. i have also got to go to a reception for a friends brother tomorrow who was killed 2 weeks ago by a hit and run driver.  :( :( :(
