These wonderfull 'art forms', whether made by humans, which I must say I do personally doubt, or by some 'universal' force, can just be admired without deep judgement.  They are extremely intricate and mathmatically construted. :o :o  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*8-) 8-) 8-)

As for the world ending, well I am not going to start worrying about that as I have lived through many so called 'end of the world' predictitions and a nuclear 'cold war', but we are still here.  In anycase there is nothing we can do about it as; whatever will be, will be. ::) ::) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I have read up on this and watch a documentary on it. to be honest both sides have good arguments. even if you don't believe it will happen, still worth the watch as its very interesting. here's the link:
