After THAT big event just over 35 hours ago, it is now wall to wall media coverage and tribute after tribute, with every person who ever came into contact with MJ being interviewed, as they see £'s or $'s in their eyes. ::) ::) ::)
Now it seems MJ's doctor has something to explain, so the media are licking their lips and are ready for a story that will run and run, especially as it could take up to six weeks apparently for the full results of the autosophy to be known (a mystery in itself).
Oh yes the hounds of the media will be producing tribute magazines, articles, and tv productions galore to feed their hungry mouths. :-X :-X :-X :-X
Now I agree that a great singer has died, and I for one wept over the loss of Elvis in 1977, and really did cry over the murder of John Lennon in 1980, but am I the only one who finds all this false, commercialisation mourning of a death very distasteful? :o :o :o :o
Yes the market, in the form of MJ grieving fans, will be seeking as much remembrance material as possible, but more and more, as the years pass, the media seem to me to over play it to the point they are being completely disrespectful of the departed. >:( >:(
In death MJ is going to make even more money for the media than it may have made during his life! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Try watching News24. It's almost like it's running on a loop. Over and over again.

Yep Turk, that is a good example of what I meant. Talking about making the most of an event. The media love it, until it ceases to be commercially viable! ::) ::) :( :(

I have resorted to watching Al Jazeera Eng to see news, any news that is not about Jackson. >:(
Do the news editors of BBC and Sky news really think that the population of this country is so completely hooked on everything 'celebrity' that we need this saturation coverage - if there is a modicum of truth to that, then God help us :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D recurring

It was exactly the same when Elvis and Lennon died,I can even remember one of the red tops (the sun iirc)had a photo on the front page of Elvis corpse in his coffin,no sense of decency whatsoever. >:(
The problem I have at the minute is that as well as trying to avoid the coverage I dont like tennis,so not much for me to watch tonight, looking forward to WSB from Donington park on eurosport tomorrow though. :)
