I did a friend at work a favour yesterday and gave him a lift over to cambridge to collect a 3.2lt jag xj6 after he won it on ebay....All went well till we drove off in the thing and found out there was no fuel in it!!! >:( >:( it finnally ran out on cherry hinton road alf a mile from the BP there well we got sum fuel and limped it to the garage and filled it and from there the probs started it would not start i would not idle when it did start...Sooo i used my RAC membership and got em out to look at it as i had no tools or any idea where to start on it :-[ so after alf hr of waiting i just checked the ign and started it...the bloody thing ran sweet as a nut even after taking it on quick test run down the road and back.... :-[ so when the RAC bloke turned up i pretended the jag was mine and told him what had happend he looks it over and says i cant find a fault just run up and down the road and back and we`ll take it from there so it runs like a dream again and the RAC says right i`ll right it up as no fault and if you suffer any probs again just give us a shout...Well it ran great all the way from cambridge to telford.....I reckon it was just the fact it was so low on fuel and we let it suck the crap through from the fuel tank mind ya i gave the 2 poles a round of ff`s about not telling us no fuel or where the nearest garage was TW*TS.....Moral of the story is though Dont take Me with YA to fetch a new car!!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
