Some people are selfish, arrogant and lazy and have absolutely no consideration for anyone but themselves.

I had a "confrontation" in the car park at Asda yesterday with a guy who parked in a parent and toddler space despite the fact that he had his wife and teenage daughter with him - NO TODDLER. As this was the last of those spaces I had to go and park elsewhere and then walk across a busy car park with my 2 year old.

I despise people like this. Those who park in disabled bays without a blue badge as well. My partner is disabled and can barely walk 10 metres and my mum is the same. They have both had to stop me "having words" with people who park in disabled bays without a badge.

Rant over!!

I totally agree.

I cannot understand why people park in disabled/parent & child spaces.

I nipped into KFC last week for some scran, and the only space there was available was slightly blocked by an Octavia taxi. He had reversed in and both his passenger side wheels were breaching into the next bay, and the fron wheels were turned to the passenger side also. Now, I managed to get my car into the bay without any difficulty and with plenty space to exit the vehicle.

As I left my car, a rather rotund man with more chins than the chinese phone book, walked towards me and said, "You wanna pull your car forward so I can get in mine? I've got 5 kids here."

I asked him if my car was parked badly, he walked up closer to the cars, and said, "It's ok, I'll pull mine forward instead."

I watched from the shop, he got in, pulled his car forward, two boys got in, and the other three got into the car next to his drivers side, which was also badly parked, along with a similarly chunky woman.

There was no need for me to move my car.

Surely he should have parked his car with a little more consideration to others and, more importantly, his young passengers!

I dont appreciate people who seem to lack the ability to park in bays in supermarkets or the like.

I work as a manager in a supermarket, sometimes I just sit and watch to see just how many 'disabled' people use the designated areas properly, with a blue badge displayed. It ain't many, perhaps 40%. You get people of all ages just pulling in nonchalantly as if it means nothing. They can't be bothered walking the extra few yards from a normal parking space, and if you have the cheek to challenge them on it, you get mouthfuls and mouthfuls of vile abuse. It's just lazy, arrogant, selfish people who deny genuine users the space, a pet hate of mine.

The thing that really p's me off at our local Tesco are those that are 'just waiting' for someone they've dropped off at the store and wait right outside the building despite the fact they're blocking the road for everyone else. There's a drop-off layby that often lies empty while they do so! One lad was waiting on the crossing and couldn't see a problem when I 'discussed' his choice of parking/waiting space. Tesco doesn't/won't do anything about it though.  :-X
Wall Mart/etc I came across in USA had a big f*** off sized crossing right outside the store that you were allowed no where near in your car ........ admittedly they have a little more space available to play with!  ;D :y
