No Joke not putting this in the Help section as i know i can only fix it just replace the seat.
Was driving over to my mates Friday night and thought i would put the heated seat on for a bit and OUCH
i think the element has snapped and the snapped end burnt through the seat and cover and into my backside.
So i have a nice round hole in my drivers seat if i sick my finger in the whole i can feel all the spounge melted.
Has anyone one else had this happen ?

It's not uncommon.
The heater pad is duff. You need a new one.
But as the cover is ruined, it may be best to try to find a replacement seat.
And don't use the heater again in case it starts a fire!

Oh ill not be using it again one it will cause a fire and two it will burn my backside again lol

The heating pads still fail (and I believe, officially, are not replacable on leather), just I've never seen one burn a hole through...

I apologise in advance for this.
Can't resist the urge of the dark side to comment...
could have been worse.
