Title: How Far Do You Live From Where You Were Born?
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 11 July 2009, 12:02:33: I was just thinking.

My Mum was born in Aberdeen, also gave birth to my sister there. Mums Sister gave birth to her 2, 1 in Sinagpore (Army Wife) and 1 in Aberdeen.

My Dad moved down from Consett and married my Mum and set up home in Rotherham. Both my Brother and Myself were born a Listerdale nursing home in Wickersley.

My Brother (youngest of us all) has allways lived in Wickersley, so has my Sister. My Brother has Moved twice, My Sister 3 times. Dont think Either will ever move again.

I then realised I have moved 8 times, but maybe not more than 6 miles from where I was born. I wont be moving again. . . .Hopefully. ::)

My wife north Poland and lives with me.

So about 12 miles from where I was born :y

Is that a Services trait, d'you reckon? Liikewise, while in the RAF dad moved around Lord knows how many times -- then retired to the house he's still in now, over three decades later.

Moved to W.SX when i was 8, floated around the south coast then moved up to Lincolnshire 8 or 9 years ago. Still have friends in London/Sussex but i like Lincs & have settled here now. 8-)
