And pickles there own...
Try putting loads of garlic and red hot chillies in the jar...
Just tried one that has been fermenting away for the last 4 weeks....Lovely, if i say it myself! :y :y :D :D

I assume you know how to make shelled hard boiled eggs...
Shove em in a jar of Sarsons pickling vinegar.....
Leave them for approx 4 weeks :y
Tho add half a bulb of garlic (peeled)...and a pack of hottest red chillies you can find for added taste :y :y

My local Tesco's only sells Sarsons distilled pickling vinegar......dont get that....in my preference i dont like it....flavour is reduced....but your choice....
My local Sainsbury's sells the 'brown' version :y
Distilled is clear vinegar.....ordinary is brown colour.

Arriving Bank Holiday Monday (at the latest!) and staying right through to the Thursday after :y :y :y

I pickle my own onions but my dad does his own eggs (and anything else if it doesn't move, cherry tomato's work well),
they have been banned from their next door neighbours house though due to the gaseous emissions ;D

Excellent, got a surplus of free range eggs so will try with some chilli etc. Malt vinegar will be difficult for me to find its all cider vinegar here.

See if you can get Sarsons pickling vinegar...its already spiced..saves messing about making your own...then just add ingredients to taste. :y
