Title: Its all just too easy.....
Post by: tunnie on 28 July 2009, 14:32:12
...to buy things online. I just accidentally bought a HTC Magic. (G2)

Since i killed my last HTC phone which was running Windows mobile i have been looking for a replacement. After having a go with the Google Andriod powered phone here, i decided to get one. There are some very interesting programs for it, think this will be the first to go on:

Thats cause the iPhone lags behind in so many ways!

Its quite a cool app, uses the camera, so its as if your taking a photo you see what the lens does. Cause it knows your GPS position, it plots all the stuff on wikitude around you, very handy for finding a tube station.

Going to a house warming party in a couple of weeks, i have no idea how to get there, going to be cycling, using printed maps won't be an option, i will use my phone....

When my other one was alive that was usefull too, meeting mates at a new pub, we got lost, pop the phone out, google maps, job done.

Browse the forum and other sides on the train, i even done work remotely, i can control my PC from work using my phone, i actually restarted some servers remotely, while on the train, so when i got home i could eat my dinner instead of working.

If you know how to use them, very powerful devices  ;)

...that's the crucial factor Tunnie, these devices are so well specified the majority having one will seldom use - or will be clueless of - all capability on offer :-/ :-/

Indeed, i will never use most of mine. Although do get 99% of how it works (afaik). The other 1% i dismiss as useless crap on the basis that i dont understand how it works, therefor it must be useless and crap. My Dad was the same....until he got one himself. I remind him how useless the crap is when its navigated him to our house that hes been to a million times. Provided its on the phone and are open minded you can make of it what you will.... :-)
Ps. Posted this with phone using wireless connection. Also do not need tomtom, digital camera, camcorder, or lap top(just, use Hs if it i have to) as its all on one device. All for 25 sobs a month. :-)
Pps. Cant remember the last time my OS crashed. Microsoft per chance?
