After reading that, the Landlord should be able to kick them out for racial discrimination.
-
The next generation of landlords will have a more "inclusive and diverse"attitude to these poor misunderstood folk, once the brainwashing has been completed.

they couldn't live there without the owners of the house putting it up for lease to the council tho - so why would the owners object? they're guaranteed the money every month :y
capitilist society - a socialist society ironically would have affordable housing for all and this wouldnt be an issue ;D

It all depends on how it's administered BJ, as in the end some are more equal than others :(

yep zulu - just making the point that if you are driven by greed, and we all live in a capitilist society, then you sell out to the highest bidder come what may - i'm not judging just observing it made me laugh....maybe its just me ::)

...whatever the system there will always be losers, but on the point highlighted you are quite right, this is one of the most distasteful aspects of the capitalist based society and on that basis, concern for others receives the well-padded elbow in favour of the unhealthy desire to profit at all costs :(
-
on a wider point, we're not capable of learning zulu - if the collapse and subsequent bail out of the financial system wasn't enough to convince us - i dont know what will! guess we are just a virus that feeds on money :-/

...for the most part I think that's a fair assessment BJ - generally the emphasis always seems to resort to the individual and their specific needs - the very unwelcome trait that devauled the socialist ideal from the get-go :(

We all work so pissing hard to see all or taxes paying for useless pieces of shit like them... :(

The capitalist system is what most are contracted into from birth, trading in our, in the beliefs of John Locke, God given freedoms to gain benefits of state security and social care.
It is possible to opt out of the capitalist system if we so wish, living off the land, using no centrally generated utility services, no social support services, including education, and defending our own, using just the resources available to us maybe in the wilds of America, Canada, China, etc, giving our labour only to our own requirements.
However, for our comfort, satisfaction and survival most of us decide to remain 'opted in' to the capitalist society we are attached to and enjoy all the 'toys' that produces, with all its faults. Perhaps we are not brave enough to opt out, or we care too much for our families, lacking confidence in our own abilities. But that is the freedom we do enjoy in the capitalist system of ours; freedom of choice. Other systems, such as collective communism does not give you that as they usually are within an authoritarian state. The Russians have now tasted the 'honey' of capitalism and will not be opting out any time soon. The Chinese are still learning and will eventually join the club!
What angers me though is the type of situation that is the basis of this thread. People should either WORK and CONTRIBUTE to the capitalist system, freely agreeing to honour their contracted in situation, thus gaining the advantages of it OR opt out fully and NOT derive ANY benifit from what the capitalist society generates.
It should be one or the other! Stay opted in, contribute fully, and gain the benefit. Opt out, live for yourselves only and only benefit from your own labours, no one elses.
Simples!! ;) ;)

In essence that is a very palatable proposal Ms Zoom and oh were that to be the case because that notion could be applied across the board - especially in the realms of the administration of Justice - play by the rules or the system bites you very severly in the arse - no? ;) ;)
I would subscribe fully to that :y :y (being a fully paid up lackey of the State)

Burn the f***ing house down with the scumbags barricaded inside.
Insurance claimed.
Taxpayers money saved.
Heartache and worry ended.
Job done.

Some of you obviously need reminding of my doctors advice:
If you are prone to heart disease or depression, dont watch/read the news. Ignorance IS bliss. :)
