Title: Ebay Link (Auto Elite)
Post by: nixoro on 14 August 2006, 13:35:46
Just been looking on Ebay and found this now It has a nearly 7 days to run but would be good for parts or fixing up.

Not sure what the problems are with it or if it has any history but would be good for parts.

I was looking at this myself but its just too far for me to travel and I'm lacking funds.

Here is the link:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&item=290019191779&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

So anyone up north or if you can get it trailored, it could be worth a look.

And just to far away for me - probably a £200 to deliver to me. And a dreadful road to tow on.
Mind you rossphim is in Inverness,,,,,

Unfortunately I can't access Flaebay from work, but I hope my better half hasn't decided to get rid of mine! ;)
I'll have a look later, when home.
I'm seriously thinking about getting shot of the barge at the moment, with fuel prices being solely to blame (added to the fact that I'm only getting 26mpg on my work run).
I'll get my coat on before I say this then run for cover ........ I'm thinking about a diesel Zafira.
 :o

Right, I'm at home now and just had a wee look at this e-bay item.
One question I would have is why mention leather Recaro seats in the title (as a selling point), and then have no picture of them?
It's of no use to me, but if anyone out there is interested, I'll quite easily track the seller down and go and have a look at it (even if it is just for more photos).

I see where your coming from, the only reason why I looked at it was the wheels and lip spoiler, not so bothered about the leather.

Still someone closer may find it more beneficial.

Hang on I'll just get you a price ......... but I'll have to check out these new postage rules.
Right is it a letter, large letter, or packet. ;D
It would be fun trying to tow it down the A9 to your area ........ euw just the thought makes me cringe ;)

Hmm... I'm tempted by that, especially if it's got real recaros. Too far for me too really, but you never know I might just persuade myself that it's not a really bad idea ;)

Pity it's a slushbox though, don't they break if you tow them too far? Although personally I consider all slushboxes inherently broken anyway :D

If one of you local guys can get some pics that would be good... just don't go out of your way to do it, cos I might not buy it anyway.

Cheers!
