Title: LPG conversion..
Post by: omega archie on 18 October 2009, 08:55:17
Well lets see if you good folks can advise me, I have a 2.5 V6 Auto omega  and a 1.6 dual fuel astra van, will the LPG system lift out of the astra and with the right tools and fittings find a new home in in my omega engine bay? would be ace if so because van has a burnt valve and omega has a drink problem if you like to mash your foot in.

not much point, you will need new ECU to handle the 6 pots rather than 4, new injectors. The only thing that really will be swappable will be the tank.

StagLPG kit works well on the Omega, its £700 all in.

My old mans just had a Stag kit fitted to his Lexus RX300. Cost £1200 fitted and thats a V6.

They did a brilliant job, really professional and looks like it was meant to be there from day one.

Couple of Polish lads working out of Kings Langley in Herts. It was about £400 cheaper than anywhere else.
