				Does anybody know why Vauxhall discontinued the omega, I find the omega a superior car to any vectra i have owned, i know they had the signum but wasnt that a glorified vec c? and that didnt stay around for long.

 It had been around for the best part of a decade....perhaps it had just become too antiquated by 2004......sadly...
 A nice new V8 version ......with about five litres and ........350 BHP...would be nice. :y :y :y

				I thought the same in the 80's when I had a 3 litre Senator - it was a lovly car to drive and then they brought out the Miggy and I thought how can they replace this car with one so much smaller - now we have Insignias to look forward to when secondhand prices are affordable

				Expensive to make, cost cotting most likey, too much to re-design a car which is on its own in the market.
 
 Can't compete with 5 series, ones it used to fight it out with Rover 800 / Ford Granda all pulled out.

 Hard to believe ........but the full list price of a 3.2 Elite ......was over £30,000......in 2003......Surely nobody actually paid that much for one.
 You could have purchased ........a pretty high spec BMW 5 series for that money. ;) ;) ;)

 Just didnt have the badge on the car that most people prefered to brag to the neighbers with.

 My boss had 5 series at the same time I had my Carlton.
 
 Guess which was roomier and more comfortable?
