How apt and timeous...
Interior nightshots look like an explosion in a chinese fireworks factory.....
:P
-
I think we should get TB some of the blue LED strips for under his walnut panels as an Xmas pressie from us all ;) ;D ;D
-
You're trying to make TB explode aren't you? ;D ;D
-
I think it could be of some use...it could be added to the How2 section...'How to ruin a great car, and face expulsion from OOF!'
-
perhaps we should save those as a faq for a how not 2 guide :y

Fabulous idea ;D ;D
-
Well somebody loved it and spent hours on it.... ;)
It may not be everyones taste but a lot of work must have gone into the additions :-?
Whitewalls. Woah!!
Each to their own :y
-
I can't believe the
"with the odd little mark here and there as you would expect with a car of this age but nothing noticeable to the eye" in the blurb!
-
I could lovingly spend hours in the karzee but the end result would still be a pile of poo.

Trick or Treat springs to mind !

Who gives a f**k how gay it is, the starting price is just about half what you would get if you drove it on to the weighbridge as it is.
Dismantle and sell the parts individually, and you've pulled 500% profit with ease (and still get a decent weigh in price).

Was watching this with a grin as was going to do just that-until I saw there was a reserve..... ;)

There is never in a month of Sundays will that sell for its starting price, even if it sells for what its worth say £600, you going to have trouble making that back breaking it.
-
You recon theres £600 in this? Its a 2.5 with untold miles thats been fitted with a number of, shall I say, teenage additions in the way of the lights? Could perhaps see a (very) few quid being recouped by selling the LED stuff on, but, other than that, I would be simply weighing it in.
Absolutely no facts to verify but a fair guess that its been driven quite hard by a less than experienced driver(s)....

Stands a very good chance sir, bl00dy chavs ;D
Oh and KW, I know what you meant and I had thought about asking what the reserve is but then I thought to myself I'd have more fun taking the pi$$ out of him :P

You need to look at scrap metal prices if you think that won't make the starting price.

I meant it would sell for more than the start price, reducing any profit on breaking it.

All i'll say.....those front windows look definately illegal to me....spose to be max 30% tint....which is what most omegas are fitted with as standard.

Look at the pics with the front doors open (which is what the old bill do), that is easily legal.
PS
It's 25% through the screen on any car registered after 1985 ;)

I agree with you, it is 25% tint on the windscreen :y ....30% tint on the front door windows.
I disagree, the fronts look the same tint as the backs....and tbh 30% tint is hardly noticable.....not like those windows.....and you'd be suprised how many traffic cars carry light meters to measure tinted windows, well they do in Swindon anyway ;)

I'm too pissed/stoned/both to find it, but there is a pic on here somewhere of our 4x4 which has factory tint, and from the outside you can barely see in.....yet inside out you get 81% light through.
I know the figure of 81% is accurate, because those very nice traffic cops at Cosham proved it to me (much to their dismay).
After the window episode, they tried to tell me my numberplates were too small and the wrong shape...another epic fail for them because it's a Jap import ;D ;D

Down here too my brother got caught and was told to take them off which is good :y

I was looking at this one wondering how much it'd cost to put it back to how it should be but then again it's probably had the granny smashed out of it while the current owner has been driving it
