Title: Why MGZT's dont have a fuel computer

Because you would cry every time you looked at it :( The wifes, with a mix of motorway/urban is returning a bout 20-21mpg. :( :(

Is it a V8? If so that's pretty respectable, my BMW does well to average 18 MPG.

Nice motors those ZT V8s, come with a 6 speed gearbox and of course RWD. It's a little underpowered IMO (260 BHP) compared to what it could have been.

I guess how she drives it? If she has lead feet, then that must be possible.  If she is careful, there's something wrong.

I average 25mpg currently from 3.0l MV6, mainly country roads and Milton Keynes.

Wel TB, she tells me she drives like granny but, she's not quite clever enough. She phoned me from work before and said she was just leaving. It's about 12 miles (not motorway) and 15mins later she was through the front door. Go figure.

That seems a bit low to me for mixed driving......heavy right foot  ;D
