Yes?
Well do yourself a massive favour and go buy a pair of Sennheiser PX200's!! :D
Bought a set recently based on the reviews I had read and recommendation from MaxV6. :)
In order to get the best out of them once they arrived I just plugged them into the PC sound system and left them running at moderate volume for approx 30 hours.
Now up to this point I had been using those god forsaken in ear things! >:(
Plug these in instead and ohhh yesss!
Now these are not the really good Sennheisers, these are designed for smaller devices like mp3 players, but oh god they sound absolutely stunning (and go damn loud if you want!)!
Listening to god at work (Tiesto to the unitiated) is now an absolute joy once more. :)
They cost around £30 and I really cannot recommend them highly enough!

Tsk tsk. Moving to General Chat ;)

Moving to 'use good head phones on shite quality MP3's' section
-
ooops! :-[
Sound blinkin' impressive listening to the original cd's too! ;)
-
I borrowed a set from work - HD202's - probably not as good as your's but good enough and free!
Trouble is you'll look like a 70's character walking round with them under your hoodie. ;)

TIESTO! Dave, you've made my day mate :y

Oh yes mate, my player has In search of Sunrise 1-5 and Magik 1-6. Man is a genius... :)
-
DJT in LA is great as well :y

RRp £ 40 odd quid or so....
but there are occasional deals to be had at assorted retail outlets...
Now and again I can obtain a healthy 20-25% off on a set from a mate who works at Sennheiser.... but I'm not a retail outlet.... nor is he..... so it's strictly as and when, rather than a weekly thing....
Glad you like them Dave.... :D
My Son's having a pair for his birthday.... ( i got them at the same time as yours) to go with his new iPod nano... since the drive in his mini failed last week....
Nice non mainstream choice of music also.... :D

I have Sennheiser on my MD Walkman
THink they might be 150s though
-
I use an older set of PXC250's - and they're great as well!

I recently got a set of Bose earbuds for my MP3. At £70 they ought to sound good, and by the gods they do. Fantastic frequency response. even if a little quieter than the original Creative ones.

I got Bose Triport ones here, fantastic headphones... really here all the details, excellent bass and very comfy to ware. Also cuts out 95% of outside sounds.
Expensive, but worth it :)
