The supermarkets are hard to beat now.
As you may recall I got Uncharted 2 for the cheapest price I have seen from Sainsburys.
Now for the next exciting game.
Assassins Creed 2 from Tesco online for £37 and includes 500 points back - which is £5 in Tesco vouchers, this is worth £20 for a lot of things, eg £20 towards a Top Gear magazine subscription.
So the game is £17 :y :y
-
If it justifies it for you.... :-X
-
But for those of us who dont do the loyalty card thing, £37 is pretty much a run of the mill price I think

To be honest the relationship with Tesco and the shopper is OK - I do admit if Tescos sold something embarrasing and I didn't want them to know I would pay cash and not use the card.
I do not like Tesco - in Worcester they are compulsary as there is so many of them.

Fair enough Martin!!
I just dont like the whole (some may say paranoid) belief that they monitor everything we buy on their database thats all......
I can understand why this would be a bargain though mate

Nor do I but they pay you, and to be honest, bread cider, crisps ect - I don't care, but if they sold something embarrasing - it stays in the pocket.
I am surprised they have not noticed the low purchases of bread (farm shop), meat (butcher) and petrol (Calor & BP).
Unlike a lot of things this is a two way deal.

Weirdly, we usually end up paying cash in Tesco, cos we do the weekly shop on a Saturday after going round town so always have cash left over for Tesco's

Bit of clever advertising could increase your spend (the whole point of it all) - notice some tills already have an LCD facing customer, ready for advertising. Or some places have screens near queuing areas.

As careful shoppers, Sue takes a list and sticks to it - I check the alcohol and cerial aisles for special offers.
Currently I am addicted to Jordans nutty Country Crisp and Henneys cider
