No it's not the word filter, just me....seething in my seat here after watching the news. The Royal Engineers have been grafting to built a steel footbridge over Workington after the devastating floods 2 and a half weeks ago.
One of the mums interviewed said that even though this bridge had solved a lot of problems she still thought the situation was 'unacceptable'

Get a £#€king grip! You live in the countryside, shit happens, you deal with it or move to the city. At least be grateful for the hard work of the Engineers ffs you ingrat!! Many people live in the countryside and know this as they deal with it often, I know I was one of them once and hope to be one day when I can afford it. Stupid ingrat female canine! >:( >:( >:( >:(

We (or rather, the current power) have spent the best part of 12 years creating a bunch of f**kwits who are not capable of thinking for themselves, and at the same time have managed to convince an entire generation that any mistake is the fault of anybody except the victim.....get used to it G, it's not going to get any better in the foreseeable.

You've got to remember .. her life/routine has been affected .. she can no longer do exactly what she wants when she wants it .. that is why it is "unacceptable" .....
Forget the fact that numerous folks have left their homes to build her a new bridge, forget the fact the a poor man died, and what his family are suffering, forget the fact that her new, but "unacceptable" bridge has been paid for by the taxpayer ....
All she wants is to be able to drive, not walk, to the other side of town.... probably to collect her numerous state handouts.
Should be shot IMHO

Try the coffee (or tea) on a building site where the cup/mug comes complete with a fungal infection that even Louis Pasteur himself would be proud of ;)

After 38 years in the RAF I've drunk some pretty awful excuses for "coffee", especially when bunking down with "pongoes" either for real or on exercise... always did find that the coffeee in the "real" situations was far nicer than the exercise stuff ... or was that just a reaction to what had just gone on !!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D

It was unacceptable because she could not drive her 4x4across it to take the kids to school in it

Just seen on the news a story about it taking the school bus two hours to do a journey that would normally take ten minutes because the bridge it would usually use was out.
Pah when i was a lad we'ed of put our books and clothes in a bin bag and swam it!

But that wouldn't have been waterproof and your school books would have got soggy resulting in you getting a good beating off the headmaster!
