-12C driving to work today, and think freezing fog, each day seems to be more of a rally stage than the last.
Incidentally, there's been quite a lot of discussion about driving Omegas in the snow and how good or bad they are. I'm amazed at the difference the snow button makes on the auto; driving out of the work car park without it on was nigh on impossible but as soon a it is set the car cruised out with hardly a hint of wheelspin. I know it only starts in third instead of first but it is remarkably effective even with old tyres like mine has. I imagine it is quite hard to modulate the power in a manual with a big engine.....?
Also cruised past my neighbour who was stuck on our icy hill in his Mondeo this morning - again hardly a hint of wheelspin but he couldn't move. Front wheel drive, pah! ;D

Manual RWD are 'interesting' to get going thats for sure ;D

(I use without studs) miggy is not bad on snow..
but as an experience (few times) it became necessary to close the TC (off)
